Feel Good Week! – February 2017

Feel Good Week was kicked off in spectacular style this year with a visit from Team GB hurdler Serita Solomon. Serita had every class from Reception to Year 6 take part in an intensive circuit session in the hall. Our hearts were pumping hard by the end! We then had an inspirational assembly where Serita shared her story so far. Not only has she shown great resilience by over-coming not one but two major injuries but the children heard how sheer determination and focus can help them achieve their dreams. We even found out Serita uses meditation to help her compete on the international stage. 


























Tuesday was a more relaxed affair with Beany Yoga sessions to help calm our bodies and minds. The children have experienced first-hand how physical exercise, yoga and meditation can really help protect and boost their mental health which is what Feel Good Week is all about.
