Fiver Challenge – June 2016

Year 5 have had the opportunity to take part in the “Fiver Challenge”, an initiative set-up by Young Enterprise and Virgin Money. The initiative provides a highly interactive, fun way of introducing financial literacy, resilience and teamwork in learning for primary school children. The children have a month to set up a mini business either on their own or as part of a group. This can involve creating a product or service which they can then sell or deliver at a profit and engage with their local community. The children have taken on this challenge ‘whole heartedly’ and we have been extremely impressed with the children’s entrepreneurial skills! Watch out Dragon’s Den!
