Samba Workshop – July 2016

On Wednesday 6th July all of our Key stage 2 children had the opportunity to take part in a Samba Workshop. This was designed to introduce the children to Samba rhythms . During these sessions the children played traditional instruments and used simple rhymes to help them stick to the beat. A big thank you to Kaz from Herts Music service for delivering this workshop which fully engaged the children throughout. They had a fantastic experience!

‘It was really fun learning about how the instruments originated. Also it was great being able to play the different instruments and the rhymes were great as they helped us keep in time!’ – Noah Year 6
