Year 4 Monet Verulamium Museum – December 2016

On Tuesday 13th December, Year 4 Monet went to Verulamium Museum in St Albans. Here the children found out lots of interesting facts about the Romans and discovered what an important town Verulamium was in Roman times. Everyone had a great time handling artefacts that were almost 2,000 years old and studied a mosaic that took 6 months to make and had over 250,000 tiles in it! Well done to all of the children for their excellent behaviour on the trip, which was recognised by  the staff at the museum.   Thank you to Mr Bethune, Mrs Huke, Miss Keegan for organising the trip and to the parents who supported them on the day.
