Year 6 SATS Breakfast – May 2016

This month our Year 6’s sat their end of Key Stage 2 SAT tests. To support the children in reducing their anxiety levels, each morning the children enjoyed coming in early to have breakfast with their friends. They certainly have healthy appetites where each day we had to visit Tescos to purchase more food – in total they consumed an impressive 120 crumpets, 120 brioche, 6 loaves of bread, a variety of cereals, 20 litres of juice and to end the week bacon and sausage rolls!

It was such a pleasure to see our Year 6 children relaxed and laughing with their friends each morning and to approach the assessments calmly and confidently. Thank you to Mr Bethune who then led a short meditation session before they took the tests. I would like to thank all of Year 6, Mrs Edwardson and Mrs Ayles for all of their hard work this year, you have all done yourselves and Westfield very proud!
