Firstly, well done to all of the children who received a certificate for being highly commended for their efforts and creativity .Their designs are on display in the hall for us to enjoy and will be shared with you at our Open classroom evening on Tuesday 19th July. Thank you to the Judge, Dan Stace, who after leaving Ashlyns last year achieving an A * at Art A level, currently studying a Foundation Art course in Amersham and then is off to study Illustration at Bristol University next year. We would like to thank him for giving up his time to judge the competition and then digitally creating the winning design for printing.

Bake a cake fit for the Queen competition
We were overwhelmed by the number of entries we received for this competition – we certainly could have entered ‘Bake off!’ Thank you to ALL of the parents and carers who got involved in supporting their child/ children with this event. Thank you to Holly Green , Chair of Governors and Natasha Collins, ex-parent and local cake decorator at Neviepie cakes http://www.neviepiecakes.com for judging this competition. They expressed how impressed they were with all entries and wished they could have awarded prizes to everyone! Everyone who took part was awarded a Merit , with many children receiving a Highly commended certificate .
