During Warhol’s trip to Celtic Harmony the children journeyed back in time through prehistoric Britain. First landing in The Stone Age. Here the children were shown tools and weapons used in the Stone Age and they even got a chance to flint knap their own arrow heads (out of soap). Next the children took part in a trading game and learned to trade goods rather than using money like today. After this, the children journeyed to the Bronze Age where they explored a Bronze Age Roundhouse and made their very own pot out of clay! Finally, the children ended up in the Stone Age, where they used quern stones to grind grain and make dough for bread. They had such a fantastic, hands on experience to supplement our History topics in year 3!
