Y4 Residential trip to Hudnall Park – June 2019

Team Monet’s Hudnall Park trip was one of the wettest ones on record! However, the wet weather did not dampen our spirits and, with our waterproofs on, everyone threw themselves into the many outdoor tasks such as den building, orienteering, bug-hunting and pond dipping. Being outdoors and away from home really does bring out sides to our children that we sometimes don’t get to see in the classroom – and it was lovely to see everyone help each other out and really be part of a team. Thanks to the parents and carers who prepared the children so well and for the generous gifts to the staff that accompanied the class (the sleep deprivation is only just wearing off so the treats have been much appreciated!). Team Monet had a fabulous trip with excellent behaviour and memories were forged that will last a lifetime!
