On Thursday 18th November, Team Hepworth visited the Verulamium Museum. We have been learning about the Romans and found out that there was a Roman town called Verulamium where St Albans now stands. We enjoyed a tour around the museum and getting to explore different historical artefacts. I think all the children enjoyed finding out about Roman toilet roll! We also went to see a real Roman mosaic and hypocaust (an ancient underfloor heating system is a marvel of Roman engineering). As part of Cool to be Kind week we also enjoyed sharing our positive affirmation pebbles in the park.
