The Year 4 children had a fantastic time at the Ragged School Museum in London, stepping back into the Victorian era for a hands-on history experience. They took part in a traditional classroom lesson led by a strict Victorian teacher, practised writing on slates, and explored what school life was like for children in the 1800s. They also toured the museum’s exhibits, discovering how families lived and worked in the East End. The visit was both fun and eye-opening, helping them appreciate how different life was for children long ago.
